Greg Golden is a huge Michigan fan. Born at the UM hospital nearly 70 years ago, Greg says he’s been Blue since birth. Greg built this site eleven years ago and is about to emter his 8th season calling football games for South Forsyth High So it was no wonder that Greg would reach out to 2022 South Grad Nathan Efobi, who is currently penciled in as the starter at left guard for Michigan’s Team 147. Efobi accepted the invitation, and became the headliner in a terrific event put together by SOFO head Football Coach James Thomson, and Stadium Voice and Greg’s partner Doug Thomas. The complete recording is linked below with lots more interviews and the complete cast list. Here we’ve sampled Nathan’s twenty minutes with Greg and Todd Spencer. Both Todd and Doug, it should be noted, are Ohio Stare fans, as is our Associate Producer Cindy Watkins, who put us in touch with the redshirt Junior.. So it took considerable effurt on their part. Of course, they all lined up for pictures with the SOFO legend anyway. Here’s the bit with Nathan, Greg and Todd, with the set up help from Greg’s daughter Becca, who graduated last week from the University of Georgia, and Todd’s son Harrison, a Redshirt Freshman wide receiver at Murray State. It’s an entertaining few minutes and Nathan gives us some great quotes, including a scoop about a potential position switch. This interview is published with Nathan’s blessing and is the exclusive property of Forsyth Sports 365. Many thanks to all who helped make this a lit evening.
Emjoy!
