Yes!! Our equipment performed like a champ! We survived the rain and caught all the action of a tougher than the score indicates 39-7 victory over a game Alcovy High team way over in Homer Sharp Field in beautiful downtown Covington. The Tigers double teamed Devin McGlockton all night and played super tough defense at the Line of Scrimmage. but a long list of skill players and a lack of depth spelled their fifth loss in an 0-5 start. They’re building a good program there in Newton County, but this night they were no match for a deep and loaded War Eagles squad.
