It was a beautiful night for football Thursday night in Midtown Atlanta at Henderson Stadium. South Forsyth had to travel to face this region 6 – 6A opponent in an area that, number one, had little parking, and number two, had a lot of roadwork going on. Oh and number three there was a game prior to theirs that forced their kickoff back to 8:30. Our broadcast team did the best just like the school bus drivers to make their way into the area and get into the stadium to play the game. The athletic director forgot to put their names… that would be Doug Thomas and Todd Spencer… on the guest list so that was an uphill battle after all the effort to get in to the stadium area. They were about to give up a couple of times, but stuck it out and pull off a terrific broadcast. So South was overmatched a bit by the size and the fact that their head coach coach at North Atlanta has been the coach of the year like four years in a row in his regions. In spite of all those obstacles, Todd and Doug put together a terrific broadcast and we’ve got it for you above. It’s a great great replay. The kids never quit. They never gave up. They stayed into it and made it close. Very proud of these guys and our broadcast team. Enjoy the replay. I miss another game due to my surgeries. I have another impending surgery coming up this week. Hopefully I’ll be able to make it to the Alpharetta game at home in a couple of weeks. Keep your fingers crossed for me but thanks to Todd and Doug for doing a marvelous job in their first effort together. We appreciate you tuning in and listening to South Forsyth football here on forsythsports365.com,
