South Forsyth football missed its annual Blue/White scrimmage the last two years due to a scheduling hiccup. They still got the work in, but it was two games in the fall. Coach James Thomson had told us he had never not had a spring session, and Friday 5.15.26 he showed us his vision.
South Forsyth brought a family atmosphere to War Eagle Stadium, with food trucks and bounce houses and the Stadium Voice of the War Eagles, Doug Thomas, EmCeeing the whole thing from a hand held mic on the sideline. With that as the backdrop, Greg Golden and Todd Spencer spent the evening interviewing many of the VIPs on hand.

ABOVE Greg and Todd with guest NAU QB Ty Watkins.
In an upcoming piece, we’ll break out the individual guests and interviews, but that will take some time. We know you want it now. So here’s the whole two hour show just like we recorded it, without a single edit. We didn’t need any; not one.

Five Star Painting Father and son team Scott and Luke Specker set up their canopy just outside the Fieldhouse door, the entrance to the locker room. They just finished a paint job on the place, and it looks terrific ! . I had a nice conversation with the guys. Legacy.
