A dear old friend of mine, his 26 year old son and the rest of his family, and his brother and his family all met up for the Oregon St game and had the time of their lives. Just a couple weeks ago, my friend went to wake his son and found him unresponsive. They buried him a week ago. Somehow word got to the staff. My friend’s daughters posted a pick in Facebook yesterday. It’s a shot of her holding a white football with the MICHIGAN brand and helmet emblem, and this handwritten Sharpie note on the ball:
” To the Thomas family, the Michigan football family supports you! Our thoughts and prayers are with you! Jim Harbaugh”
Even I feel blessed. Just phenominal.
