The West Forsyth Lady Wolverines Varsity basketball team’s romp through the GHSA playoffs ended in the FINAL FOUR of the state basketball championships Saturday night at the University of West Georgia.  McEachern High handed West an 81-72 loss behind their excellent guard play. The two-time defending AAAAAA state champion Lady Indians head to the state championship game for the fourth time in five seasons Saturday night.  West Forsyth ends their terrific season at 25-7 and ranked 10th in the state.  All-state forward Jenna Staiti, the Maryland commitment, 6’5″ with a sweet touch around the basket and at the line, had the game of the year, scoring 51 points, 10 rebounds and 8 blocks.  It was an outstanding performance, but not enough to outshine the guard trio of McEachern.  McEachern (24-7) was led by their outstanding trio of quick and talented guards  Jada Lewis (28 points), Que Morrison and Chanel Wilson

CONGRATULATIONS LADY WOLVERINES ON YOUR FINAL FOUR SEASON!!!             FORSYTH COUNTY IS PROUD OF YOU!!!
