Lambert Athletic Director Drew Ferrer was hired first when the school was about to open in 2009, and he’s the guy who hired the coaches that have had great success in that short amount of time, including winning last year’s 6A GHSA Director’s Cup for the top athletic program in all of Georgia’s big schools. That’s quite an accomplishment for a school less than ten years old, and that was classified as 3A when it opened.
