In a game dominated, as usual, by the defense, the West Forsyth Blue squad came up with just enough offense to pull out a 14-7 win over the Gold squad in the annual Spring Game in the Den at West Forsyth High School.  After a scoreless first half, the Blues scored twice in the 3rd quarter on a 2 yard zone right run and a 40 yard halfback option, then withstood a furious Gold rally down the stretch.  After a 12 yard touchdown toss with 90 seconds left on the clock, the coaches gave the ball back to the Gold a la an onside kick.  But the Blue rose to the challenge and ended the game with a sack.  The play-by-play was enhanced by outstanding and insightful color commentary by Wolverine Booster board members and team Dads Brian Yearwood and Tommy Jones.  Spring ball wraps up Sunday evening at 6 with the live coaches show featuring Head Coach Adam Clack at Castleberry Ale House.  Listen to the recording of the contest here:
