Greetings from Sunny Destin, Florida!

We’ve had a terrific week here on the 14th floor of the beatiful St Maarten Building of the Silver Shells Condos on the Destin shore.  Were a couple hundred yards walk from the Back Porch, which we tore up midweek. I’m sure youve all enjoyed your vacas because this is the time to do it.  But that time wraps up here pretty soon.  We start our War Eagle podcasts Aug 1 and the site has changed.  Due to construction of the new track at South Forsyth, the first scrimmage on August First will be played AT East Forsyh, out on Jot-Em-Down Rd up from Brown’s Bridge Rd.  I didnt know this until the day after I recorded, but it doesn’t affect the rest of the info   I talk about our vaca with my wife Carol Rae, my Daughters Kristen and her Beau Elliott, and my UGA Senior Becca and her college pal Emily.  Plus our dear friends Tim and Kim Ricks, our neighbors in Cumming, Georgia, and our pooch Teddie, the mini Goldendoodle (of course).  We call her T-Rex for short, but she was the best dog on this trip.  So here’s the audio where I also tease the announcement of our new analyst who will join me at home and maybe on the road games as well.   We’ll have the introductory podcast up in a couple of days so we can start working together.  Then of course Doug Thomas will join me for our season opening Coaches Corner with Head Coach James Thomson to see what he’s looking for on August 1.    Enjoy this fun effort and look for us when we get down to business next week!    If you get through the audio and the gallery, you too are a SPORTS FREAK!
