The Georgia High School Association voted Monday afternoon to push the start of football season back two weeks, to Sept 4, the Friday of Labor Day weekend. The ruling affects only football. All other sports schedules remain unchanged. Meanwhile, the Gwinnett County school board has decided to start classes virtually, rather than face to face. How this will affect football in the state’s largest school district remains to be seen. South Forsyth is scheduled to play Central Gwinnett mid-season. This is the article from the AJC:
