Hi everybody, and welcome back to Forsyth Sports 365!  We are beyond blessed to be back behind the mic for the excitement of Forsyth County High School football and athletics.  We’re prepping for live podcasts from every stadium in the county every Friday night, bringing you the thrills and chills of Forsyth County athletics as only we can; with live event radio style podcasts and recorded interviews that give you the chance to hear from the coaches, boosters, administrators and players that work so hard to make their athletic ambitions come true.  While football is the money sport, this year and forward we want to present the voices of as many different sports and activities as we can.  If you know anybody who would like to get on a podcast with us and talk about their club or team, please drop us an email or give us a call.  The contact information is under the tab Contact.  We’re here to give you the platform to talk to our listeners about your passion.

As we roll out the new format for the 17-18 school year, we’ll have some new faces and sponsors.  But you can count on the return of the cast who’ve made Forsyth Sports 365 such a big hit in the area.  Greg Golden is the host and play-by-play voice.  Greg brings more than 20 years as a professional broadcaster to the site. Greg has called more than 500 games in many different sports in his career.  Richard Golden, AKA The Sports Freak, returns as color commentator and analyst and brings his incredible knowledge of the game and uncanny wit to all his assignments.  And Jon Benson III enters his second season, bringing his game experience, professionalism and broadcast talents to every appearance.  We’ll have lots more coming for you in the weeks ahead leading up to kickoff, including our first ever video podcast!

But every return has to start at the top, with a visit with the man who makes things tick here in Forsyth County Athletics.  He’s the Athletic and Activities Director of Forsyth County Schools, and one of the architects of the superb new Super 44, a collection of the biggest football schools in the state, which includes all five Forsyth County High Schools.  He’s Nathan Turner, a great friend of our domain, and he spends a few minutes with us to whet our whistles for what’s on the horizon.  With the first AD meeting just a week away, here’s Greg with the always entertaining Nathan Turner, as we light the fire for the new year.  Thanks for joining us, and enjoy!!
