It was another rough night off the TMonle towers in Coal Mountain durng our live podcast of the Civil Dispute. But North’ big Region 6 6A victory was recorded before it was streamed so the whole game is presented here wthout interruption. As a South fan there wasnt much to cheer about until late when South scored on two nice drives, one led by Senior Captains Mike Missos and Harrison Spencer.

The excellent pregame and anthem are here but I separated those festivities into a clip I could highlight in another post, so I’ve included it here. North made the evemong into a spectacle, and that was just the start.

After the game, we packed up, and as Doug took the bags to his SUV (It’s NOT a van), I thought I would help by wheeling my walker out to the plaza in front of the pressbox. As I did, I didn’t notice a drain just off the center of my path, and my walker wheels caught the top of the dip and I began to comically spin down into the drain, only a foot or so deep so no worries right? Hahahah I laughed with the crowd of North shirts. He must be dizzy from calling all those NOFO TDs. With a little embarassed smile on my face I got up and reached for the handle to walk myself out of the drain. But I forgot I had pushed the handles down to better fit the counter top inside. When I reached for where they usually were, there was nothing there, and I slipped to my knees. Slightly shaken I began to apologize when I was overwhelmed by a bunch of Nurthern kin who pulled me to my feet and dusted me off. Suddenly, miraculously in front pf me appeared a familiar face. It was Deputy Bree, the Forsyh County Officer who appeared several weeks ago at East Forsyth to help a soggy Greg exit Half Mile Stadium I’ve never been so glad to stand face to face with a law officer in my entire life. Bree smiled and said Have you done it again? I asked her if my wife Carol Rae had hired her to tail me becuase I’m known for pushing the envelope. Anyway she gatherd me into her spiffy FOCO Sheriff’s golf cart and drove me up the hill to Doug’s waiting van Many thanks to Deputy Bree who I hope will be there the next time I mixcalculate an exit, again..

So forward we go to the replay. Get what you can from it if you’re a South Forsyth fan There were a couple of positive moments. For you Raiders, you’ll want to savor this for just a minute, because Lambertn is up next and they’ll have their campus rocking.

Here’s the link It was a prettyh good call in spite of the distractions and the reslt of the game.

It was a beautiful night at the ballpark if you were a Raider fan, as the halftime scoreboard can attest.

It was a tough outing for War Eagle Nation. But fortunately I had somebody at home to ease me down Meet our new sweetheart Tedi Honey Golden. She arrived with Carol Rae and Becca Friday morning. Things can only get better.
