There is a glimmer of hope, acording to Doug Thomas, that South Forsyth can make the playoffs Despite a 1-3 record in Region 6, AAAAAAA, the War Eagles can get in if they beat West on the road to finish 2 – 3 in the region, and Forsyth Central can drop Denmark so the Danes finsh 1 – 4. Both those results would be huge upsets. Tune in Friday night for the call as the Waffle House Rivalry continues. It’s the regular season finale with Mike Newsome and Doug Thomas on the call. Meanwhile, Greg Golden and Doug Thomas spend some time with Coach Morris below. Despite the drubbing by Lambert, the team remains positive and the boys know what they have to do. Coach Morris should be commended for keeping the team together to end up with even a sliver of hope heading into the Den.
