For the first time ever, South Forsyth Softball features a live broadcast when Forsyth Sports 365 gears up at South’s superb field to call LIVE the War Eagles’ match up with Lambert in a double header! The only hang up may be one that forced the cancellation of Saturday’s late game vs Archer: rain.
South was 9-0 when they lost at Lambert Thursday on a walk-off single, 4-3. It was the Longhorns’ fifth victory in a row. Rain on Saturday forced a morning 9-9 tie vs Allatoona and the Archer rain out late Saturday afternoon.
Now, with Tropical Storm Sally creeping up into the Gulf of Mexico and a forecast to get swept eastward after landfall, both the Tuesday dh and Friday’s SoFo football opener at Dawson County are threatened. We will stay poised and ready to bring them both to you LIVE!
It’ll be Greg Golden and Mike Newsome on the call! They’re super excited to present the first ever live broadcast from South Forsyth’s most excellent softball field, unless Sally and her r-word puts a damper on the festivities.
