Here is the replay of the South Forsyth home opener in three parts. The first link is the first part of this game from Friday night. South Forsyth built a 14-0 lead with 1:12 left in the frst half when the game was halted due to lightning. We stayed on the air for the duration of the nearly 90 mmiute pause to decide whether to wait it out and finish late or do something else. Greg and Mike turned to Bobby Missos and a dip into the chat room to kill the time in hilarious fashion. This has alrady been posted so you can skip it if you already listened in.

Here is Part Two, which is actually Part One of the Saturday resumption of play out at East Forsyth. The county held it out there so they could use one set of officisls for both games. We spent some time in a pregame as they changed the field from East Forsyth vs Forsyth Central to South Forsyth vs South Cobb., then carried it through to the point where an unexpected phone call from my brother kicked us off the air.

Finally the third link which is actually the second part of our Saturday broadcast. We were alerted pretty quickly that we were off the air so we reset and started rolling again. Mike and I were fortunate to cap our family connection established in the chat Friday Night. We had decided to try to travel light and called the game through mixlr over my phone. So we sat amongst the South Fans who occupied the home sideline at East Forsyth Half Mile Stadium, about the 10th row. As the fans were leaving South Senior Captain Spencer Harrison’s mom and dad came up and introduced themselves. They were very complimentary of our program and our chat in the brutal Georgia August sun is the highlight of the piece. During Friday night’s delay Harrison’s uncle and a few aunts got into the chat and helped us pass the time. They checked in from Louisville, SoCal, Oregon and Huntsville, so we were coast-to-coast! So Meeting mom and dad Spencer was the perfect touch to wrap the unique weekend broadcast.
