It was the 18th renewal of this inter-county rivalry. This time the South invaded the North. And this time the South won. In fact, it was a demonstration of perhaps the most complete team in Region 6, AAAAAA. South Forsyth Head Coach Jeff Arnette got the performance he expected from his versatile offense, and benefitted from an unexpectedly dominating performance from the War Eagle defense on the way to a convincing 35-3 victory over North Forsyth in Raider Valley. The War Eagles accumulated 440 yards of total offense, including 161 yds on the ground and 2 touchdowns from Running Back Sam Outlaw and another 100 from fullback Stanley Apeagba, featuring a 60 yard touchdown run to close out the rout.
