Liberty Middle at Lakeside Middle in War Eagle Stadium! Lakeside Middle School is, according to War Eagle head Football Coach Troy Morris, is the biggest feeder school in SOFO territory.
Lions head football coach Ted Pickens has gone the distance, heading up the program since the school’s opening some 13 years ago When I first started Forsyth Sports 365, the school was rocking a single win season. But a kid named Ben Harvey changed all that Since then the Lions have been to a couple title games and regularly send hungry and well prepared talent to the parent club.
Coach Pic loves his 8th graders but insists this team is energized by his 7th graders . And theres another Harvey in the mix. And an Arnette. Well get a good look tonight at the future of SOFO Nation!
On the Patriot side, we’ll see 8th grader Drew Davis. Headed for Raider Valley, Davis scored three touchdowns and had a half dozen solo tackles in last week’s win vs his future teammates at North Forsyth Middle Stopping # 28 will be key to a Lions’ win.
