Friday night before the South Forsyth/Norcross playoff game at South, I was running through the pregame when I noticed a new presence in the press box next to me. Looking over, I saw that it was Forsyth County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jeff Bearden. We had met once or twice before, always in passing, so this was a great opportunity to catch up. We greeted each other, and he graciously accepted my request to interview him right there during the pregame.
